Imagine this, you’re walking into the grand ballroom, dressed in the most fashionable puffy sleeved dress with beautiful silk gloves, hair in an updo with your favorite pearl headpiece. You enter the ballroom and partner with the handsome man across and both of you begin to waltz. Somehow you’ve never waltzed before but your steps are in sync and you know exactly what to do. Now this is great, probably won’t happen but wanted to create the setting before going ahead to tell you how you the 5 things you need to bring your Bridgerton bridal shower to life!
My sister had her bridal shower at The Tides Estate in North Haledon, NJ where here theme was… Bridgerton! The Grand Ballroom’s high ceilings and long staircase were both perfect to enhancing the Bridgerton theme.

Make your own Lady Whistledown newsletter
In order to ensure that your Bridgeton themed bridal shower is on ‘brand’ you absolutely NEED a Lady Whistledown newsletter. Make it personal! Include guests you’ve invited in the newsletter, like if your best friend will be crowned ‘Diamond of the Season’. Adding personal touches to the newsletter allows the reader to feel like they are part of your special day.
2. Add pops of color in your decor with bright florals and porcelain vases
As much as I love a neutral pallet, adding pops of color in your decor and porcelain vases can really elevate your Bridgeton themed Bridal Shower. Hiring the right florist is very important when designing the stage setting and table centerpieces. Each flower plays a big role in the final setting. If you’re having a DIY Bridgeton themed Bridal Shower, make sure to include shades of pink, purple and blue in your flower selections (hydrangeas are a must!).
Tangled in Twine created such a work of art! The centerpieces were various flowers in porcelain vases as well as pink cherry blossom trees.
3. Ruffles, Off the shoulder, and Volume!
I don’t think we need to go into much detail here, your dress should be one that mimics a ball room gown, Bridgerton edition! BHLDN is a great place to shop as a bride to be and a guest, one of my favorite shops!
4. Bridgerton Music Playlist
Having the right playlist is a must when you want to elevate your bridal shower to the Bridgerton level. What’s great about this is that there are so many playlists and soundtracks from both seasons, so it makes it so much easier to get your theme on point!

5. Your Bridgerton Name - Game
And finally, a nice little game that is creative and fun! It’s called, Your Bridgerton Name. Essentially, your guests will receive a place card, where they are instructed to add the following:
Lady or Miss -
Favorite Flower -
Name of the street they live on
So for me (an example), I would be Lady Peony James. Some of the names people come up with is so creative and work so well with the theme!
